This innovative flexible concrete geosynthetic system is  engineered for permeable erosion protection and prevention. The flexible control mat has concrete shapes embedded into a polyester geogrid.

Richard’s presentation will explain what the material is, how it works, and the many features and benefits. You will learn how this innovative and easy to use system can be applied to a multitude of scenarios, where erosion protection, prevention and soil stabilisation may be an issue and most importantly, result in supporting rehabilitation of the natural landscape.

About the presenter

Richard Mould, is one of the Directors and owners of Australian Concrete Mats and Australian Concrete Posts.

Richard and his business partner, Alan Theron are both hands-on in the development and manufacture of concrete products at their factory in northern NSW, just south of Ballina.

They offer simple engineered solutions for issues that arise from Australia’s harsh environmental conditions in their concrete products. Concrete erosion mats is just one aspect of their concrete solutions business.

Since 2015, they have been supplying their concrete products to NSW and QLD Roads and Maritime Departments, regional council authorities, many civil projects and thousands of land-owners and developers across Australia.

In their backgrounds, both Alan and Richard come with a wealth of experience in construction, earthmoving, rural, and logistics businesses.
